About my art

  • 15% of all proceeds are donated to educational nonprofits supporting the people of Hawaiʻi.

Proceeds are divided evenly between: Puahi Foundation, ‘Ohana Kilo Hōkū, and PUEO.

  • I like programming, photography, and drawing, and sometimes something comes out well enough that I want to share!

I view art as a way to play with technology - whether that’s stickers as a toddler, or cameras, programs, and AI as an adult.

  • Math and physics are a way to rejoice in the complexity of nature. For instance, the banner at the top of this page is the result of an equation I derived. These kinds of abstract truths are what I find most beautiful, along with the natural world itself and its landscapes and ecosystems.

  • You might have noticed something wrong with one of the images on this page. No, I’m not talking about my smile or headband - those are very real. But the painting in the photo of me under a rainbow doesn’t actually exist.

In the real photo my arm is outstretched with my palm facing the camera, and I’m holding nothing. There’s not even a canvas there. I used Stable Diffusion to draw a canvas over the original image, which had a drop of water on the camera lens where I inserted the painting.
